Terms of Service

Effective October 2026. Governed by United States law.

1. Service description: Kinbred is a breeding-services marketplace and record. It is not a bank, escrow agent, registry, or veterinary provider.
2. Agent of the payee: by listing, the stud owner appoints Kinbred as its agent to collect stud fees through Stripe. Payment by the requester to Kinbred is payment to the stud owner.
3. Milestones: fees are charged only at contractual triggers (signature, documented service, registry approval). Pregnancy and live birth are contract conditions, never charges.
4. Registered animals only. No animal sales. Welfare standards apply.
5. Disputes: evidence exchange (7 days), Kinbred decision with dual control, then binding arbitration. Chargebacks freeze releases.
6. Limitation of liability; no guarantee of breeding outcome; governing law (to be set by counsel).
